Our purpose

Our Purpose – There's a Book in Everyone

Helping people turn their ideas, stories and life's work into books.

There's a Book in Everyone is a UK-built AI publishing platform that guides first-time authors from first idea to a finished, publication-ready book – covering strategy, writing, editing, proofreading, cover design, formatting, metadata, marketing and publishing preparation, with AI acting as a guide rather than a replacement for the author.

Many people have a book inside them.

  • A life story
  • A family history
  • A children's book
  • A business journey
  • A piece of specialist knowledge
  • A recovery story
  • A memoir
  • A lifetime's work

But for many people, that book never gets written.

Not because the story is not worth telling, but because the process feels too difficult, too expensive, too technical or simply too overwhelming.

There's a Book in Everyone is being built to change that.

Our platform uses guided AI support to help people take a book from first idea through to a structured, edited and publication-ready project, with support across planning, writing, editing, proofreading, cover creation, formatting, metadata, marketing and publishing preparation.

We are not here to replace people

There's a Book in Everyone is not being built to replace authors, editors, designers, publishers or creative professionals.

It is being built to educate, guide and empower people who may never otherwise have the confidence, knowledge, budget or technical ability to bring their book to life.

For some users, the platform may help them create a strong first version of their book before investing in professional editing, design or publishing support.

For others, it may be the only realistic way their story, knowledge, family history or life's work ever gets captured and preserved.

The aim is not to flood the world with low-quality AI-generated books. The aim is to make book creation more accessible, more guided and more achievable, while encouraging users to improve, review, edit and take ownership of their work.

Why this matters

The traditional route to producing a book can be out of reach for many first-time authors. Once writing support, editing, proofreading, cover design, formatting, typesetting and publishing preparation are included, the cost can quickly run into several thousand pounds before a book is even published.

The process can also take months, or even years, especially for someone who has never written or published before. That creates a huge barrier.

Many people start with an idea but never get past the first few pages. Others have notes, memories, research or personal stories sitting in folders, notebooks or half-finished documents. Without the right support, those stories may never see the light.

There's a Book in Everyone gives people a way to shape those ideas, understand the process and turn them into something lasting.

What the platform does

The platform is being designed as an end-to-end guided book creation system. It supports users through:

  • idea development and book strategy
  • audience and genre positioning
  • title and subtitle generation
  • chapter planning and structure
  • manuscript writing support
  • developmental editing
  • line editing and proofreading
  • book review and quality assessment
  • cover generation and design guidance
  • formatting support
  • metadata, categories and keyword preparation
  • Kindle and print-on-demand publishing preparation
  • audiobook and narration workflows
  • launch planning and marketing support

This is not just a blank AI writing box. The platform guides the user through the book creation journey step by step, helping them understand what a good book needs, how it should be structured and what is required before publication.

A guided journey from idea to publication-ready

Our vision is to help users move through a clear book creation pathway:

Idea → Strategy → Structure → Writing → Editing → Proofreading → Cover → Formatting → Metadata → Publishing Preparation → Marketing

At every stage, the platform helps the user make decisions, improve the quality of their work and prepare their book properly.

The user remains the author. AI acts as a guide, coach, assistant and creative support tool.

Built for first-time authors and everyday storytellers

There's a Book in Everyone is being created for people who have always wanted to write a book but have never known where to start. That includes:

  • first-time authors
  • memoir writers
  • families preserving personal history
  • business owners
  • coaches and consultants
  • educators
  • children's book creators
  • local historians
  • subject experts
  • independent publishers
  • creators with stories, ideas or knowledge to share

The platform helps remove the fear of the blank page and gives people a structured way to begin.

Built in the UK

There's a Book in Everyone is a UK-built AI publishing platform. It's built around a phased roadmap, starting with core authoring tools before expanding into deeper publishing integrations, audiobook creation, marketing automation and print-on-demand workflows.

Publishing platform integrations

A key part of the long-term roadmap is integration with major publishing platforms, including Amazon KDP for Kindle and print-on-demand publishing, as well as other relevant publishing, print, audiobook and distribution platforms.

The aim is to give users a smoother journey from initial idea through to publication-ready files, metadata, cover artwork, marketing assets and, where platform partnerships allow, a guided handover into publishing and distribution channels.

A commercial and cultural opportunity

There is a significant commercial opportunity in helping more people successfully create and publish books. Even at very modest adoption levels, the numbers are powerful.

If only 0.1% of the global adult population were supported to turn an idea, story, expertise or lived experience into a published book, that would still represent around 8 million new authors. If each of those authors sold just 5 copies, that would create 40 million book sales. At an average retail price of $10 per book, that represents around $400 million in gross book sales.

These are deliberately conservative assumptions. They do not include repeat authors, author copies, Kindle editions, paperback print-on-demand, audiobooks, advertising spend, premium publishing support, business books, educational content, children's series or follow-up titles.

The point is simple: even a tiny fraction of people turning their ideas into books can create a substantial publishing opportunity. But beyond the commercial opportunity, there is a human one. This platform can help preserve stories that might otherwise be lost.

Our ambition

Our ambition is to build a trusted global AI publishing platform, built in the UK, helping people everywhere create, own, publish and monetise their ideas, stories and life's work.

We believe AI should not remove the human from the creative process. It should help more humans take part in it.

There's a Book in Everyone exists to make book creation more accessible, more understandable and more achievable – especially for the people who have a story worth telling but have never had the tools, confidence or support to tell it.
