How our policies fit together
These four documents cover everything the law asks us to publish and everything you might want to know before creating an account. The privacy policy explains what personal data we hold, why we hold it, and the rights you keep under UK GDPR — including the right to see, correct or delete your data at any time. The terms of service set the day-to-day rules of the platform: acceptable use, ownership of your manuscripts and covers, the fair-use limits on AI credits, and how we handle downtime.
The refund policy covers subscriptions, one-off credit packs, trial periods, downgrades and the small number of situations where a refund isn't possible (typically AI usage that has already been generated). The cookie policy lists every cookie the site sets, what it's for, and how to switch off anything non-essential from the cookie banner or your browser.
About the company behind the platform
There's a Book in Everyone is a trading name of Around Tenby Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. We're a small team of authors, editors and engineers based in the UK, and every policy on this page is written by us — not pulled from a generator — so it reflects what actually happens inside the product.
Every policy is version-controlled. When something material changes we email active users, publish a plain-English changelog, and keep every prior version available at /legal/<policy>/versions so you can see exactly what changed and when. Nothing is silently rewritten in the background.
Have a question our policies don't answer? Email hello@theresabookineveryone.com and a real person on the team will reply — usually the same day, always within two working days.
